Billy Elliot Theatre London
On Thursday April 11th Billy Elliot the Musical celebrated 4 million visitors to the show in London. The cast celebrated with the lucky audience member, Sharon Hick, who was sat in the stalls F-9, by greeting them on stage and presenting her with an exclusive Billy Elliot goody bag including a two night stay and dinner at the Grosvenor Hotel. With 4 million audience members walking through the doors of the Victoria Palace Theatre we wanted to let you see your part in Billy Elliot history and we have a Facebook app that you can take part in on our Facebook page. By logging when you saw the show and who came with you can see where you fit into the show’s history. Make sure you like the Facebook page to stay up to date with the latest Billy Elliot news. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has seen the show over the last eight years and for your part in the history of Billy Elliot.
Following our 8th birthday bash this weekend, today we welcome some brand new cast members to the show. Ali Rasul from Hartlepool will make his debut performance as Billy tonight, 13th May. Ali joins the cast along with Anna-Jane Casey as Mrs Wilkinson, Kevin Wathern as Billy’s brother Tony, Howard Crossley as George, and Alexander Loxton who has taken on the role of Older Billy. After months of rehearsals, the new cast are now ready to take the Victoria Palace Theatre by storm – and we can’t wait to see them!
Ali Rasul said:“ I was so surprised and excited to have been cast and I just can’t wait until my first performance on stage.”
